The dark dot at the lower edge of Mare Sirenum is the crater Newton. The Tharsis volcano region is to the upper right of Mare Sirenum. Olympus Mons is the bright oval at 2:00 and Arsia Mons is the bright oval at 3:30. Variations in albedo can be seen in the Amazon plain.
